Alden Rose

Alden E. Rose also known as Al, 71 years of age passed away peacefully of natural causes, April 29, 2017 at his home in Paul.

Al was born February 6, 1946 in Clinton, Massachusetts, He attended Chaffey High School and lettered in track then attended Chaffey College, Ontario, CA.

He was enlisted in the U.S. Naval Reserve, He worked for General Dynamics and built missile parts until the contracted ended. He was a mechanic, welder fabricator, machinist, manager for a hydroelectric plant, dairy operations manager, self-employed entrepreneur, independent contractor, A. I. breeder.

He was a son, brother, father, grandpa and friend.

Al loved working on cars, fixing things, shopping for the best deals on the internet or at auctions. He loved horses, music, concerts, cowboy and Indian themes and getting in the car and just driving to wherever he felt like going. He was grandpa to kids that just needed a grandpa. He was a friend to those that just needed a friend. He wouldn’t hesitate to lend a helping hand to those in need. He was a hero.

He is preceded in death by his parents Alden G. Rose and Alice Teresa Sylvia Rose of Ontario, CA.

He is survived by his eldest sister, Karen Meade of Florida, middle sister, Margaret Hoelter of Ramona, CA, youngest sister, Rebecca McCauley of Buhl, ID and youngest brother Jim F. Rose of Upland, CA. He is also survived by his eldest son, Scott Alden daRosa, Norco, CA, Stephen Rose, Ramona, CA, and Brian Rose, Twin Falls, ID.; grandson, Dillon daRosa, Pomona, CA., Heidi and Andrew daRosa of Norco, CA.
