Jacob "Jake" Lemmons

February 16, 1996 — September 28, 2021

WASHINGTON

Jacob “Jake” T. Lemmons, our beloved son, brother, grandson, and uncle was called home to Heaven on September 28, 2021. Jacob was born on February 16, 1996, to Danny Miller and Stephanie Lemmons in Twin Falls, Idaho. At the age of nine months, he was adopted by his grandparents, Guy and Shiela Lemmons, and grew up being loved and taken care of by all.

He attended school in Buhl and graduated in 2014. While in school Jake played football, basketball, soccer, and wrestling. He served as an altar boy at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and was later confirmed into the church. Jake loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, and snowboarding, going as much as he could. He was a dare devil and would try anything once; from cliff jumping while swimming, dirt bike riding and anything adventurous. Jake had a free spirit and liked to party with his friends and family leaving all with many memories.

Jake tried several different career paths working at a fish hatchery in high school, delivering pizza, working in the excavation field, and finally working in the shipyards in Seattle building scaffolding. Jake was a very outgoing young man and did not know many strangers. He touched everyone deeply and has a lot of family and close friends that miss him very much.

Jake is survived by mom, Shiela; sister, Shayla (Rodney) Tolman; niece, Arianna Tolman; his birth parents, Stephanie (Danny) Dias; siblings, Kelsey and Kaleb Lemmons, Devin, Dylan, and David Dias, Danny (Cara Masino) Miller, Madison Miller, and Noah Kantoas; grandparents, Bill and Peggy Lemmons, Onah Dee Mohlenbrink, Trish Platt, Hallie Graham, and Joe Miller; aunts, Corinne (Jim) Mason, and Kay Miller; and uncle, Gregg (Kelly) Lemmons.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Guy Lemmons; birth grandfather, Kurt Lemmons; grandfathers, Gale Mohlenbrink and Eugene Platt; niece, Taislie Ann Tolman; and cousins, Dale Miller, and Laci Burkhart.

A rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m., with a memorial mass following at 11:00 a.m., Friday November 12, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1701 Poplar Street, Buhl. Interment will conclude at West End Cemetery.
