Bonnie Haviland

July 24, 1950 — July 17, 2016

Bonnie Haviland was born on July 24, 1950 to Robert and Margie Haviland in Reno, Nevada. Bonnie flew to be with her Lord and Savior on the wings of angels on Sunday, July 17, 2016. While her body was unable to rid itself of infection, her mind and soul are set free

Bonnie spent her early childhood in Gerlock, Nevada before moving to Buhl, Idaho her freshman year and joining her graduating class of 1968. Although small in stature, Bonnie had a giant heart and a true love for her family and friends. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished and remembered.

Bonnie, being a true fashionista, was nicknamed, "Miss Matchie-Matchie" because she was intrigued with beautiful clothing and all the wonderful accessories, right down to the matching purses and shoes. Her incredible memory was filled with names and numbers and dates of special events and meaningful information of all she interacted with, in conversations or at events. She was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt to her family and those people she held close to her heart. She was kind and thoughtful and held tight to her close friends. Whether it be a regular Friday evening supper with those that she had long and rewarding friendship with, or a phone call filled with laughter and love, Bonnie committed to be an amazing and loving person, which is sought after by most, but achieved by few.

Being hard working and loyal made Bonnie the kind of employee both Ropers and Sav-Mor drug welcomed with open arms, and her customer service was the icing on the cake with customers knowing they could always count on Bonnie to create a wonderful atmosphere and send them away with a smile. Her endearing relationship with her mother, Margie, continued until the very end. They were partners in crime and anyone around them could see the unwavering mother-daughter bond everyone wishes for. Her playful personality was contagious and filled with excitement and mischief. While words will never fully express how much someone will be missed, our memories of Bonnie and stories of her life will provide solace and comfort during this time of grief.

Bonnie is survived by her mother, Margie Haviland; sister, Susan Haviland Fuller; brother, Bob Haviland; nieces, Vickie Burwell and Brenda Funk; grand nieces, Tja Maxwell, Ali Churchman and Reatta Omoth; nephew Jett Garrison and great niece, Emma Maxwell.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl.
