The staff at Farmer Funeral Chapel wants to assure you all that we are keeping public health at the highest priority.
CURRENT ORDER FROM GOVERNOR OF IDAHO
Viewings and Funerals will resume under the Phase 1 Opening as described in the Rebound Idaho directives for Stages of Opening under the allowance of House of Worship. Events inside of our facility will be limited to 35 people or less at a time. Viewings will be on a rotating scale, as guests leave, others may enter, while not exceeding 35 guests at a time. All numbers include family members.
Farmer Funeral Chapel will require adherence to the standard social distancing requirements (listed below) as well as all attendees of a family meeting, viewing, or funeral service in our facility to wear a protective face mask. Staff will have a limited number of masks available for anyone not able to obtain their own. Staff will maintain a clean and sanitized building for your safety and will be present to frequently sanitize high traffic areas.
“Social Distancing Requirements” includes maintaining at least six-foot social distancing from other individuals, washing hands with soap and water for at least twenty seconds as frequently as possible or using hand sanitizer, covering coughs or sneezes (into the sleeve or elbow, not hands), regularly cleaning high-touch surfaces, and not shaking hands.
During this time, our facility will not be meeting with walk-in clients.
Staff will be available to current families by appointment only with limited attendees. We will offer all families the option to make arrangements over the phone and via email.
Our highly trained staff will be following guidelines set forth by the CDC and NFDA (National Funeral Directors Association) when responding to death calls and handling of deceased. We have implemented extreme measures to ensure all of our public areas are safe and clean.
Sincerely, Paul & Amie Swenson
