Carol Ragan

Carol Anne Ragan, 86, of Buhl, ID, was born May 20, 1931 in Los Angeles, California to Frederick and Clara Rose Evans. She went to be with our heavenly father on March 12, 2018, in Twin Falls, Idaho with loving family by her side.
Carol lost her mother at age 13 and went to live with the Clifford family. In 1949 she married Harold Stewart. She began her family in Long Beach, CA with two daughters and a son, Belinda, Karen and Robert Stewart. The family later moved to the small town of Norco, CA where Carol was a homemaker and 4-H dairy goat leader.
Remarried in 1979, Carol and John Ragan left California and bought a home in Buhl, ID. She never learned to drive but she enjoyed walking in her community. She and her husband joined the Calvary Assembly of God where she found a spiritual home among her brothers and sisters in Christ. Carol worked for several local businesses over the years and enjoyed participating in couple’s league bowling and camping, but her favorite way to spend time was with family.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Don Carpenter) Stewart; son Robert (Lisa) Stewart; 10 grandchildren, Shannon Ferguson, Dalous (Katie) Smart, Amber Smith, Amy (Tyler) Beck, Vinceena (Georden Deshields) Luper, Jeremy (Charlina) Linam, Blythe (Joshua) Peterson, Brandon Linam, Stephanie (David) Dahl, and Craig Stewart; 24 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ragan; daughter, Belinda Scott; parents, Frederick and Clara Rose; and brother, Frederick Craig.
Carol’s family would like to whole heartedly thank the dedicated staff at Bridgeview Estates, Desert View Care Center and St Luke’s Hospital of Magic Valley for the loving care they provided her.
Funeral services will be held March 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm, at the Calvary Assembly of God, 110 Fruitland Avenue, Buhl, ID with gravesite service to follow at West End Cemetery, 1574 E 4150 N, Buhl ID.
