On November 3, 2016, Cassie Juker Thomas peacefully left this life to begin her journey as a heavenly angel.
Cassie was born on July 30, 1985, to Crystal and Troy Juker in Buhl, Idaho. Her siblings, Miranda, JC and Jade followed, and the amount of love she had for her family was immeasurable. Cassie attended Buhl High School, and after completing cosmetology school, she moved to Boise. She tended bar and later started her own business cutting and styling hair, a perfect career for Cassie's unmatched ability to make everyone around her feel welcome and loved. She was a professional at making memories and friends, and we are blessed that God gave her this talent...and a camera phone.
Cassie married the love of her life, Logan, on September 12, 2015. From their front steps, they watched the sunset, the cattle graze in the pasture, and their children, Lane and Kynlee, bloom. Her children inherited her kind heart, love of adventure and contagious laugh. Cassie spent the last three years of her life living her dream, married to her "own country singer" who gave her butterflies every time he smiled.
Her infectious smile and loving personality made her a bright light to all who knew her. She was made of humility, generosity, and kindness, and her light that radiated from within will be deeply missed. She taught us to always look for the best in people, that joy comes from gratitude, and that when you least feel like doing it, do something for someone else. Cassie once said, "Life is not a promise; it is a gift." She gave us all the gift of sharing her life with us.
Cassie was preceded in death by her grandfathers, George Juker and Richard Kaster; great uncle, Robert Juker; and uncle, Craig Kaster. She is survived by her adoring husband, Logan; daughter, Kynlee Marie Reynolds; son, Lane Robert Thomas; mother, Crystal (Lowell) Kaster; father, Troy (Jenny) Juker; sister, Miranda Juker; brothers, JC and Jade Juker; and grandmothers, Dorothy Juker and Edith Kaster. Cassie is also survived by her many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.
Services are being conducted by Farmers Funeral Chapel of Buhl, Idaho. Cassie's celebration of life will be held at the 7th Street Gym in Buhl at 11 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2016. As was well known, Cassie had an insatiable love of glitter and all things that sparkle, so please wear your best bling.
Donations can be made online in Cassie's name to Camp Rainbow Gold, an organization that is devoted to making a difference in the lives of Idaho children with cancer, as well as their families.
A scholarship fund has been established for Kynlee and Lane at Pioneer Federal Credit Union. Donations can be made at any of the 14 branches in southern Idaho.
