Charlene Leone Tippett Loos was born September 29, 1944, in Downey, California, to Thelma and Charles Tippett, joining her older sister, Antoinette (Toni).

They moved to Buhl, Idaho, in 1945, where they farmed between Buhl and Castleford.

Charlene graduated from Buhl High School in 1962 and after receiving a scholarship to Lady Catherine's Beauty College in Boise and attended & graduated in 1963. She worked at a beauty salon in Buhl for 6 years. 

She married Kenny Ambrose and they moved to Ketchum, Idaho in 1970. They adopted their two-week-old daughter, Heidi. Kenny and Charlene later divorced.

Charlene lived in Phoenix, AZ for 17 years where she continued working as a cosmetologist and also worked for See's Candies.

She moved back to Buhl and married Darrel Loos and they were married until his death. Charlene met Bob Conery at a dance in Twin Falls, Idaho at the DAV Hall. They danced, played pinochle and took numerous trips until his time of death. Her best friend was her puppy, Christmas Muffin Loos, who was born at her & Darrel's home on Christmas, 2003.

Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, husbands, numerous aunts and uncles, and cousins.
