Charles A. “Chuck” Pryor, Jr., age 83, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, in Buhl, Idaho. Born on October 14, 1942, in Fullerton, California, Chuck lived a life defined by unwavering kindness, deep devotion to family, and steadfast integrity.
Chuck proudly served his country as a Boilerman in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, achieving the rank of BT3 E-4. His time in the Navy was a source of great pride throughout his life. He carried the discipline and dedication he learned during his service into every aspect of his civilian life.
After his military service, Chuck pursued further education at Fullerton Jr College and UCLA where he earned certification as a Certified Public Accountant. His professional accomplishments were matched only by his personal character—he was known for being gentle, patient, and deeply principled. Chuck was a man who always followed through on his word and consistently put the needs of others before his own.
A devoted Christian, Chuck became an active member of First Christian Church upon moving to Buhl, Idaho. His faith guided him in all that he did and was evident in the way he treated others—with compassion, humility, and grace.
Chuck found joy in simple pleasures: horseback riding across open fields, casting a line while fishing, lending a hand on the family ranch, and most of all, spending time with those he loved. Chuck always made sure to include his first wife and mother of his children Diane Pryor and his second wife Julie Pryor in all family gatherings. He had an extraordinary ability to see the best in everyone he met and never spoke ill of anyone. His presence brought comfort and warmth to all who knew him.
He leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: daughters Tiffany, Kimberly, and Jennifer; son Greg; grandchildren Amber, Heidi, Matthew, Kelsie, Cassidy, Rebecca, Jonathan, and Melissa; great-grandchildren Oakley, Savannah, and Derek; and sisters Pam and Jolene.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Josie Pryor.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Chuck will remember him as one of the most loving and tender-hearted people they ever met—a man whose legacy is etched not only in memories but also in the lives he touched with quiet strength and enduring love.
May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
