Charlie "Earl" Tyree

Charlie “Earl” Tyree, 67, of Buhl passed away in his home, on May 2, 2023. Earl was born to Haney and Doris Tyree in Topeka, Kansas.

The family moved often, and they were stationed at many locations around the world while his father served in the U.S. Air Force. After Haney left the service, the family settled in Buhl, Idaho where they had family roots.

Earl was an avid hunter and fisherman. But overall, his passion was for helping people. That is when he went to work for the Buhl Fire Department in 1990 and loved every minute of it. He fully enjoyed what he did and those he met along the way. He made the time to show up for everyone who reached out and even those who did not. He just wanted to brighten lives in his days and that he surely did.

Anyone who knew Earl knew that he was the most loving husband, father, sibling, and son a family could ask for. He shared this same love with his community of friends and anyone else who needed it. He is going to be missed deeply by all those that knew him.

No words can express how grateful and blessed we are to all of those involved with Earl through his life and unfortunate health journey. He sure was a stubborn man, but he wouldn’t have made it as far as he did without all of you that helped.

Earl is survived by his brother, Jim (Dixie) Tyree; and his children, Alisha (Darren) Peterson, Nikole (Sarah) Tyree, and Erin (Joseph) Cooper.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Haney and Doris Tyree; his sisters, Connie Bernier and Carol Bunting; his brother, Gene Tyree; and his son, James Tyree.

Earl will be laid to rest at West End Cemetery in Buhl next to his mom.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held at 1:00 p.m., May 20, 2023, at Eastman City Park, 8^th Ave North, Buhl, Idaho.
