Dale M. Willard, 69, passed through heaven's door on August 15, 2026, at his home in Buhl, Idaho from a lung disease. His family was by his side.
Dale was born September 18, 1956, in Winnebago, Minnesota, to Donald and Mary Lou (Jensen) Willard, both deceased. He was the oldest of four children: Tony (Barb) Willard, Patty Korthouse, Jodi (Travis) Byburg.
Following school in Mountain Lake, Minnesota, he joined and served 3 years in the Navy. After his service, he had many adventures and varieties of jobs until June of 1986 when he met his future wife, Betty. They married November 22, 1986. He stepped up to be the best dad to her four children, and they were blessed with child number 5 who came along to add to the family and make it complete.
Dale and Betty settled in Buhl, Idaho, raised the children, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Dale worked at Rangen Feed, picking up used oil around southern Idaho for many years but his passion was driving his "Big Rig" for Amoth Trucking for a few years before he became ill. His passions in life were motorcycles, movies and music.
He is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Vicki (Doug) Howarth, Kelli (Joe) Rabenhorst, Ed (Judy) Jones, Sherri Shamy, and Mike (Chelsea) Willard; grandchildren, Jared, Austin, Heidi, Josh, Rose, Jake, Nick, Kasey, Dylan and Kyle; great grandchildren, Ryker, Emery, Teddy, Hailey and Link; step-grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Snake River Canyon National Cemetery, 1585 E. 4150 N. Buhl, Idaho, 83316.
