Dan L. Spring, a long-term resident of the Cascades at Desert View Care home in Buhl, passed away on Sunday May 4, 2025. He was born March 9, 1947.

Dan was a US Marine Combat Veteran of the Vietnam War. Upon his return from Vietnam and Honorable Discharge from the Marine Corps he joined the Los Angeles Police Department and served for 25 years.

Dan is survived by his Sister, Susan Spring Wenzel of Placerville, CA; Brother, Tommy Filler of Mesa, AZ; along with several Nieces and Nephews.

Graveside Service with full Military Honors will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Snake River Canyon National Veterans Cemetery, 1585 E Elm Street, Buhl. No chapel service will be held.

Dan will be remembered as a loving Son, Brother, Uncle and for his devotion to Duty, Honor and Country.
