David Alan MacEachern, affectionately known as "Mac," was born on May 13, 1960, in Stoughton, Massachusetts, and departed this life on May 21, 2025, in Buhl, Idaho. Mac left an indelible mark on those who knew him, remembered for his multifaceted career and his passions that enriched his life.
A skilled chef, Mac demonstrated his culinary prowess throughout his varied career, which also included endeavors in construction and forestry. His entrepreneurial spirit shone through as he owned his own repossession company, showcasing his dedication and versatility in all his professional undertakings.
Beyond his professional life, Mac was a devoted animal lover, particularly fond of cats. He had a flourishing herb garden and was passionate about motorcycles, frequently enjoying rides on his beloved Vulcan 1500 motorcycle.
In addition to his many interests, Mac found joy in life with his family. He was married to Frances in Mississippi, who sadly preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his father, Donald David MacEachern.
Mac is survived by his mother, Carolyn Phillips; Bonny Ann Phillips; Jill (Clark); Dana; Derek; Amie; and his son, Daniel. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones, as his vibrant presence and warm spirit touched the hearts of many.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 30, 2025, at the West End Cemetery, 1574 E Elm St, Buhl. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of a remarkable man who lived with passion and kindness.
