Twin Falls ~ Dennis Michael Wilson, 76, of Ontario, Oregon, passed away at a Twin Falls Care Facility on Wednesday, August 19, 2026. Arrangements are under the care of Farmer Funeral Chapel.
Dennis Michael Wilson was born on March 20, 1950, and passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 76. Dennis was raised in Minnesota by his grandparents and joined the United States Marine Corps in 1976. He served as a Military Policeman for 20 years. He received countless Certificates of Commendation for exemplary service. He married twice, first to Karen Liuque around 1969; The couple had two sons, Jim and Dennis Jr. He married secondly in 1977 to Maria Jassan and together they had a daughter, Erika. After retiring as a Gunnery Sergeant in 1996, he went to work for Liberty Carton Company in Minneapolis, MN. He retired from there in the early 2000s and moved to Oregon, where he spent the remainder of his life.
Dennis was proud of his service in the Marines and enjoyed sharing stories with anyone who asked. He devoted his life to work because his family and friends mattered so much to him. He was private and complex, but once someone became part of his small circle,
they remained there no matter the circumstances. Though he deeply understood how harsh life could be, he never lost his capacity to care, his quick wit, or his playful nature. He will be missed beyond measure by those who loved him.
He is survived by his brothers, Keith Denardo and Joe Denardo; sons, Jim Wilson and Dennis Wilson Jr. of Minnesota; his daughter, Erika (Chris Green) Peoples of California; grandchildren, Memphis, Delilah and Maisy, also of California, and goddaughters, Gretchen (Evan) Thomson and Brynna (Doug Shaffer) Krasznavolgyi, both of Idaho. He was preceded in death by his mother, Donna Mae; grandparents; sister, Laura Simonson; brother, Rod Wilson and best friend Bryan Krasznavolgyi.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on September 1, 2026, at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery - 10100 Horseshoe Bend Rd. Boise, ID at 11:00 a.m.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Dennis' memorial webpage at www.farmerfuneralchapel.com.
