Donal (Don) D. Huff loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather was brought to rest on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 in his home in Buhl, Idaho.
Don was born September 10, 1930 in Colorado where he was the youngest of 11 siblings. At age 21, he moved to Idaho where he met the love of his life Elda Bown at a dance where he impressed her with his great dance skills.
Besides being known for doing a great jig, Don was active in many activities including hunting, jamborees, and bowling. Of these activities, there was no doubt that hunting was a major part of Don's life. Don was known for hunting cougars and bears with his hound dogs and has spent countless hours in the mountains where he always felt most at home.
Don was also well known for his witty personality. He never met a stranger who he couldn't put a smile on their face. He made friends wherever he went and left impressions that nobody could forget.
At a professional level, Don worked for Pet Milk for 36 years which he eventually retired from.
Don is survived by his wife, Elda Huff; his three children, Kathy Huff, Mike (Rhonda) Huff, and Calvin (Kelly) Huff; his grandchildren Tiffany Gallegos, Misty Bultron, Sam Wilson, Erin Adamson, Alesia Rasmussen, David Wright, Nicole Lindauer, Brad Huff, Michael Johnson, Derek Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Skyler Gallegos, Allie Gallegos, Sebastian Bultron, Isabella Bultron, Avery Wilson, Aubrey Wilson, Cole Jacobson, Chase Jacobson, Jaxon Adamson, Araya Rasmussen, Alexia Rasmussen, Abby Rasmussen, AJ Rasmussen, Adam Rasmussen, Trinity Thorson, Seneth Ward, Isaac Ward, Noah Shaw, Mackay Jeanne Huff, Joshua Lindauer, Seren Lindauer, Alexis Johnson, Jaden Johnson, and Elijah Johnson.
Don is proceeded into death by his mother, father, and all his siblings.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2015 at the Church of the Nazarene in Buhl, Idaho. A public viewing will be held from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl, Idaho.
