Dorothy E. McKinnon age 80 of Hagerman passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at her residence.

Dorothy was born February 5, 1932 in St. Leon, Idaho to David Wesley and Ethel Mary Bates. She attended school in Susanville, California. On April 1, 1948 she married Ernest Leo McKinnon of Susanville. They celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing in 2008.

She went to work for Pacific Bell in Sacramento, California on April 8, 1951 and retired after 33 ½ years on July 31, 1984.

Survivors include three children, Helen (Nick) Bavaro of Las Vegas, Nv., Mike (Carma) McKinnon of Hagerman, Id. and Kathy (Anton) Bonieja of Merced, Ca.; one brother, three sisters, 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, March 23, 2012 at the Mountain Valley Ward L.D.S Church in Standish, California. Interment will be in Diamond Crest Cemetery in Johnstonville, Calif.
