Elba "Nelly" Molina - Buhl
Elba was born in Esteli, Nicaragua on Nov. 23, 1945. She entered Heaven's gates on May 5, 2017. She passed peacefully at her home surrounded by her family after a long and hard fought battle with leukemia, finally surrendering her pain to the Lord.
Elba was a woman of unwavering faith, always trusting in God's timing. In 1985, she let prayer lead her out of Nicaragua and across 3 boarders to make a life in America. She eventually planted roots in Buhl, Idaho living there for 25 years. She met her husband Jose C. Fagundes in 2003, they shared a love for food and family.
Elba loved receiving her family with her home cooked meals and recipes only she could master. One of her greatest talents was cooking and her grandkids loved her "sopita."
Elba was known for her fiery personality and great sense of style. Never a hair out of place or a heel under 5 inches.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Socorro Molina.
Elba is survived by her husband, Jose Fagundes; first husband , Marcos Garcia; five children, Rosalba (Chris) Kaiser, Karen (Miguel) Sanagun, Cecia (Raul) Zuniga, Abid (Anna) Garcia and Karla (Joe) Trujillo; 15 grandchildren, Marcos, Destinee, Yasmina (Francisco) Hernandez, Yajaira (Fermin) Martinez, Amber (Eric) Staffen, Caleb, Bryce, Carrisa, Jerry, Eleyka (Javier) Nolasco, Sean, Anna, Chachi, Abid Jr., Josian, Jace and Eli; 6 great-grandchildren, Maylen, Sebastian, Mayson, Leland, Madyson and Penelope; 6 brother and sisters, Miriam, Jose, Miguel, Thelma, Osman and Ruth Molina.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. on Monday, May 8 at Farmer Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl. Interment will be following the service at Buhl's West End Cemetery.
