Elizabeth Herman

February 3, 1920 — April 25, 2012

Elizabeth Herman, 92, of Buhl, died Wednesday, April 25th, 2012, at the Desert View Care Center in Buhl.
Bess was born Feb. 3, 1920 in Roselle Park, N.J. to Frank and Elizabeth Cassera where she was educated and raised. She married Frank T. Herman on Dec. 20, 1942. They moved to Utah in 1950 and made their home there until 1973 when they moved to Jerome, Idaho.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church in Jerome. Bess was an avid bowler in Jerome where she met her dear, "old shoe" friend, Dot Clark.
Bess is survived by her daughter Priscilla (Jim) Sisson, step-daughter Nancy Gail Kuchera of Manahawkin, N.J., granddaughter J'aime (Andy) Ritchie, grandson, Jake (Michelle) Sisson, great-granddaughters, Bethany Sisson, and Annaliese Sisson, and great-grandson Keith Sisson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, all her brothers and sisters, her husband Frank, her daughter Tina, son Frankie, and granddaughter Lisa Kuchera Fontaine.
Mom had many special friends through her church and bowling. Most of Bess' dear friends have gone on before her which she said was the worst part of living to be so old.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the staff at Desert View who cared for Mom like family. Thank you!
Funeral services will be held for Bess on 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Jerome with burial at the Jerome Cemetery. Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers Bess would like memorials to St. Paul's L.W.M.L.
"I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness." 2 Timothy 2:7-8
