Gregory Stephen Gulick, 70, passed away on September 25, 2025, at home in Buhl, Idaho after a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born on April 18, 1955, in Jerome, Idaho to Eugene and Margaret Gulick. Greg lived a life rooted in hard work, family ties, and a deep connection to the land and traditions of his home state.
Greg graduated from Moscow High School in 1974. He later married Connie Pardue in 1975 and had two children: Andrea and Adam. Greg and Connie later went in separate directions. In 1999, he married Katherine Clark, and they too later went separate directions. However, Greg gained three stepchildren: Colton, Jesse and Trevor.
His early years were marked by a strong work ethic and a passion for community. He became well known in Lewiston for running the Red Baron Pizza Shop - a local favorite to the community - and serving the famous "Red Baron Special" pizza. Greg also spent a short time raising cattle and spending weekends at the Lewiston Livestock yard. Later in life, he transitioned into a career as a truck driver with Dairy Gold, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 2017.
Retirement did not slow Greg down. He returned to Buhl to take over the family farm, embracing the rhythms of rural life with the same commitment he brought to every endeavor. Farming was more than work for Greg; it was a way of life that connected him to generations past and future.
Greg found joy and peace in the outdoors. Hunting and collecting guns were among his favorite pastimes. These activities allowed him to enjoy Idaho’s natural beauty while spending time with those he cared about. Whether tending crops or hunting wildlife in the majestic forest, Greg appreciated the simple pleasures of life. He especially enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. Let's not forget his furry companions Mandy and Murphy.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Gulick; his loving children Andrea and Adam; Grandchildren; Reilly and Carter (Christina), stepchildren; Colton (Stevie) and Jesse; siblings; Linda (John), Sharon (Scott), Jeff (Julie) and Mary Kim (Robert); nephews; Tim, Terry, Jason, Jeremy, Justin, Christopher and Keith along with numerous grandchildren from his previous marriage. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Greg was preceded in death by his father Eugene Gulick; his maternal and paternal grandparents; sister-in-law, Louise and stepson, Trevor.
A man of quiet strength and enduring values, Gregory Stephen Gulick leaves behind a legacy of perseverance, family devotion, and love for the land. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him. Greg was a friend of many and knew no strangers.
