Harry Beem

Harry Dean Beem, 67, of Filer passed away at his home on Friday, May 25, 2012.

Harry was born April 1, 1944 in Buhl, Idaho to Jasper and Helen Beem. He grew up in Buhl and attended Buhl schools graduating from Buhl High School. Harry attended CSI, taking drafting courses there.

Harry met the love of his life Osa Dudley and they were married in 1971. They were married for 41 years.

He worked at Magic Valley Regional Medical Center for 18 years. His most recent job before his health forced his retirement, was with Community Partnerships of Idaho helping with therapy for disabled adults.

Harry loved animals, he had many dogs over the years and always had a dog or two at home. He also loved to hunt, fish and ride horses.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Phillip Beem; sister, Ardeth Hardin and daughters, Tawney Craven and Donna Beem.

He is survived by his wife, Osa Beem of Filer; sons, Harry Beem of Twin Falls, Johnny Beem of Colorado, Tim Beem of Twin Falls; daughter, Suzie Gerber of Pocatello; brother, Roy Beem of Tennessee and many grandchildren.

A viewing will be 2 - 5 p.m., Friday, June 1, 2012 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl. A graveside urn burial will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Buhl's West End Cemetery.
