Herbert Emerson Lucas

Herbert Emerson Lucas was 81 years old when God took him home. He passed away at his home in Buhl.

Herb was born in Valparaiso, Indiana to Ann Lucas and moved to Colorado as a child where he lived most of his life. He moved to Wyoming as an adult, and then to Idaho.

He loved the outdoors. He worked most of his life as a coal miner

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ann Stark and dad, Horas Gene Coffey. He is survived by four sons: Mike, Mark, Thomas and Matt Lucas; his sister, Diana Bernett and 5 grandchildren.

He was loved by all who knew him.

There will be a celebration of life in Buhl, Idaho as well as a graveside service in Paonia, Colorado, to be announced at a later date.
