Ida May Worden progressed peacefully through heaven's gate on February 24, 2023 at the amazing age of 100 years and six months at her home in Hagerman, Idaho. She was born in Codell, Kansas to Carl Clifford Coleman and Minnie Della Benn.
Ida lived a long, good life, from traveling by covered wagon, at the age of seven, with her family to New Mexico, then back to Kansas, to moving to Hagerman, Idaho at the age of 92, after living in California for most of her adult life. She became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, being baptized at the age of 93. She loved and adored her church and her church "Family". Ida was a light and inspiration to all those who knew her, always with a heart full of gratitude for her life.
Ida was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Wesley Allen Worden; her brother, William Clifford Coleman; and her sister, Lucetta Hammonds.
Her surviving extended family members are nieces: Glenna Odbert, Marilyn Phillips, Idamae Isotalo, Debbie Broadbent, and Sharon Koumarianos; great nieces: Nicole Cunningham and Teija Satu Isotalo. Also included, is all of Ida's verbally adopted Grasteit family.
A memorial service will be held for Ida at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 620 North State St. Hagerman, Idaho 83332.
