She was born January 14, 1934 in Twin Falls, Idaho, a beloved daughter of Evera and Zora Morgan of Kimberly, Idaho.
She grew up in Kimberly and went to school there and later pursued a career in sewing at Brigham Young University and also went for her MRS degree. While there she met and married Wendell Denton Nebeker of Perry, Utah. She was a great seamstress, a phenomenal doll maker, a fantastic bread maker, an amazing cook and housekeeper. To top it off, she had a green thumb and loved working in her yard and garden. Her sweetness and cheery spirit won her many friends throughout her life and captured the hearts of her husband and each one of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. JoAnn has been a widow for 38 years, never remarried after her husband had passed away.
She has been a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she has shown her love and devotion to her Savior by serving in Relief Society, Young Woman’s and Primary throughout the years and has often told her children that the Gospel of Jesus Christ and family are the most important things in life.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Wendell Denton Nebeker; her precious grandson, Austin Wendell Nebeker of Kimberly, Idaho; and her beloved daughter, Kimberlee Peterson of Yakima, Washington.
