John Robirts

John Carroll Robirts 1934-2018

John left us peacefully after a long, fulfilling life. He was born the third son on Oct 22 1934 in St. Maries ID to Isaac Franklin and Ola Catherine (Lenoch) Robirts. His father died when he was a baby and he and his two brothers grew up working in the logging industry to help support their mother.

John met and married the love of his life, Beverly Darlene Bridge in 1957 in Sun Valley ID. Later that year he enlisted in the Army, Beverly joined him for two years in Augsburg Germany. After leaving the service, he worked for the Rail Road and the Twin Falls Fire Dept for 4 years. He worked for Sierra Life Insurance Co for 17 years as a certified life underwriter while farming north of Buhl. He opened and ran Munroe Robirts Real Estate for 11 years. After retiring (the first time) he continued to sell real estate for Robert Jones Realty.
He dedicated his life to Christ in his early 20's. John's entire life was a testament to his faith in God. He was a member of the Gideon's International for over 32 years. Speaking in churches was his main calling for 30 of those years. John believed that his life was his witness; and his example has touched and inspired many lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Beverly and two brothers: Dale (LaRue) Robirts - Sequim WA, Bob (LaVonna) Robirts - Price UT. He is survived by his two children: Valli (Joe) Robirts - Castleford ID, Kebb (Brenda) Robirts - Buhl ID. Three grandchildren; Jon (Beth)Dudley - Boise ID, Kailah Dudley - Twin Falls ID, Katelin Robirts - Boise ID and two great grandchildren.
