Kamdyn Cantrell

Kamdyn enjoyed playing soccer, baseball, golf, basketball and going fishing. The time he spent in Pine at the family cabin was special to him. He really enjoyed going to the hot springs and getting the best spot. Kamdyn was one of the co-inventors of the family game screaming chicken softball. He loved to try new things and being part of a team.
Kamdyn's ultimate gift occurred when he donated his organs. His selfless and tender personality will live on through others.
Kamdyn is survived by his mother, Mackensie Cantrell; his brother, Jaykob Cantrell; maternal grandparents, Mike and JoAnn Gemar; paternal grandparents, Kurt and Lisa Cantrell; aunt Courtney, uncle John Puente, cousin, Joshua Puente; aunt and uncle, Amanda and Chase Cantrell with cousins, Airely and Deuel Cantrell; aunt and uncle, Shayla and Alex Diaz with cousins, Aleshandre and Antonette Diaz; aunt, Shanell Moffit with cousin, Grant Moffit and great grandparents, Connie Winkle (Larry Johnson), Beverly (Vern) Farley and Georgia Cantrell.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the 7th Street Gym in Buhl, Idaho.
Kamdyn's friends are encouraged to wear super hero clothes to the funeral. Following the service, balloons will be released on the football field.
The family would like to thank the compassionate trauma team and nursing staff at St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. A special thanks to Dr. Adrian Curnaw and Dr. Britani Hill. In addition, the Pacific Northwest Transplant Bank team that was so loving and caring in honoring Kamdyn. A heartfelt thank you to our friends and extended family, our community, for their support.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to any Farmers Bank branch, in support of the Cantrell family fund or for Buhl youth sports.
Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl, Idaho.
