Kecia LaRee Coon ~ June 3,1979 ~ August 21, 2026
Kecia was born June 3, 1979, to Karlene and Darwin Coon. She was born with her twin brother, Kevin Coon. They came home to a little family consisting of three half-brothers, Keenan, Korey, and Kelly Zweifel. She also has her half-brothers and sister, Michelle, Scott, and Corey Coon. Kecia was raised in Filer, Idaho, and attended Filer Elementary, Filer Junior High, and Filer High School, graduating with her HSE from CSI. She obtained a degree in phlebotomy and enjoyed that.
Kecia married Jed Ramsey in May of 1998, starting their family. Collin Champ Ramsey was born February 2, 1998, followed by Dillon Dee born October 22, 2001. She loved and cherished those little boys. Jed and Kecia later divorced but remained friends.
Kecia met and married Stephen Ciccone which added two little girls to her little family. Ellie Laree arrived April 10, 2006, and Alysaa Norene was born March 6, 2011. Now her little family was complete, happy, busy, and loved. Stephen and Kecia were later divorced but remained friends.
Kecia was preceded in death by her son Dillon, father Darwin Dee Coon, grandparents, Kenneth and Leola Tuckett, Uncle Kenneth Leon Tuckett, grandparents, Leonard and Elda Coon and uncles and aunt Vern, Leon, Ruby Coon.
Kecia is survived by her son, Collin (Jenina) Ramsey; Kaela Ramsey (Dillon), daughter-in-law; grandchildren, Meridith and Coltin, Darwin Dee and Liam Leon Ramsey; daughters, Ellie Laree, Alyssa Norene; mother, Karlene Coon and her lifelong partner, Dennis Barnett; Kecia's very good friend, Eric John; Kecia’s' twin brother Kevin Dee (Karen) and his son Kade; twins, Korey Zweifel and Kelly Zweifel; his son, Kole, Keenan Zweifel (Sharon), Michelle (Russ) Michealson, Scott (Lil'leth) Coon, Corey (Luretha) Coon and nephew and nieces; her uncle Dale and Aunt Jeanne and cousins.
Services will be held at The Church of Latter-day Saints Filer Stake Center, 840 W. Midway Street, Filer, on September 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
