Leland Randall

March 22, 1943 — June 11, 2017

Leland "Bud" Randall of Castleford passed away peacefully on June 11, 2017.

Bud was born on March 22, 1943 in Fallon, NV to Everett and Bessie Randall. He attended schools in Utah where he graduated from Bingham High School. He attended the College of Southern Utah then later moved to California. Shortly thereafter, he was drafted into the Army where he served for 2 years. After his service, he attended University of Utah for awhile, worked with his father in the mines, and eventually started working in masonry and construction.

His parents later moved to Castleford where he also resided and where he would meet "his lovely", LeeAnna. They married on March 26, 1988 and began their journey; so did his love for his step-daughter, Carina. Bud continued his masonry work and worked for several years in Sun Valley for Wright Earl until he semi-retired.

Bud was an avid hunter/fisherman and camper. He enjoyed arrowhead hunting and loved anything to do with the outdoors; spending these times with his good friends Steve, Grant, Keith, and many others. He enjoyed his road trip adventures with Mike Wright, his airplane excursions with Jim Knutz, and any friend that would stop by and say, "Hey, let's go, Bud!". He spent every morning having coffee at the King and Hearts with Ben and the gang. He loved to tell stories and give advice; play cards and just have a good time. His family remembers always wanting him on their team for Trivial Pursuit!
Bud will be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help anyone in the community.

Bud is survived by his wife, Lee Randall of Castleford. His step-daughter, Carina of Twin Falls. He was proud of his three grandkids, Ryan, Kelsey and Taylor. They have a special place in his heart. He is also survived by his sister, Leila Combs of Castleford, a son, Josh, from a previous marriage, a neice and nephew, Traci (Doug) Easterday and Mark (Mickey) Combs, and "adopted" son, Mike Wright. He was proceeded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday June 16, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl. A celebration of life will be held at the King and Hearts in Castleford on Friday, June 16th, from 5:00-7.00.
