Marian R. Butterworth, beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away at her home surrounded by her family on December 20, 2012.
Marian was born December 1, 1934 to Elmer and Hazel Dunsing. She was the sixth of sixteen children. Marian was born in Eureka, California where she spent her early years. Her family later moved to Fort Bragg, California.
Marian met Fred Butterworth in Fort Bragg. They were married in Mendocino on April 21,1956. While living in Fort Bragg Tim and Joe were born. They then moved to a log camp and Dale was born. When Marian was expecting Pam, they moved to Redway, California. Margie and Kevin followed.

In 1970, Fred and Marian along with their children moved to Buhl, Idaho where Fred had grown up. Fred farmed and Marian stayed home and raised kids. When they kids were all in school she worked some out side of the home. She worked at the fish hatchery, Green Giant corn pack and sold Avon. She loved pigs and raised pigs for many years. Marian and Fred were involved with FFA when Kevin was in high school. When Kevin was active duty with Desert Storm she was a founder of the yellow ribbon group in the Magic Valley, spending many hours making buttons and hanging yellow ribbons to support the troops.
One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren.
