Mary Kirkham

Mary Louise Kirkham, 94, of Twin Falls and formerly of Buhl and Castleford, passed away May 22, 2017 at St. Luke's Magic Valley Hospital.

Mary was born September 30, 1922 in Big Timber, Montana to Carl and Edna Norman. She grew up and went to school in Livingston, Montana. She also attended nursing school gaining her LPN degree from CSI in 1968.

She married Ted Evje and together they had a daughter, Barbara. She was married to Doc Garrison and they farmed in the Castleford area for 20 years. She later married Huck Kirkham and gained a son, Steve and a daughter, Shanna. They enjoyed 34 years together until Huck passed away in 2006.

Mary loved to tend her garden, she was an excellent cook, she enjoyed traveling, golfing and playing cards.

Mary was a life long and faithful member of the Baptist Church. Mary loved the Lord and is celebrating with Jesus today!

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Doc Garrison and Huck Kirkham; brothers, Ed, John and Tom; sister, Sarah.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Tom), Shanna; son, Steve (Karen); granchildren, Shawn, Dana, Kristen, Kerby, Luke, Jake and Josh; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson (due in August); brothers, Robert, David and Richard and many nieces and nephews.

At Mary's request for funeral services, a graveside service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, May 25, 2017 at the West End Cemetery in Buhl. A viewing will be 9:00 - 9:45 a.m. Thursday, May 25 at Farmer Funeral Chapel in Buhl.
