Monica Owen

Monica Suzan Owen, 48, of Buhl, passed away Saturday, May 19, 2018 at her home surrounded by family.

Monica was born in Jerome, Idaho to Charles and Heidi Green in 1969. She and her 7 brothers and sisters lived in Carey, Idaho for many years. The family eventually moved back to Jerome, where Monica went to and graduated from Jerome High School.

In 1992, Monica met Shaun Owen and they were married in 1994. Together they had two daughters, Aubrey and Ashley. They enjoyed traveling as a family. Monica loved to ride horses and she was very fond of teaching and riding horses with her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Herb and Ann Forbes, and Charles Sr. and Janet Green.

Monica is survived by her husband, Shaun Owen; daughters, Aubrey (Milford Mast) Owen, Ashley Batteate; grandchildren, AnnaLee and Mathias Batteate; father, Charles Jr. (Linda) Green; mother, Heidi Snyder; siblings, Travis (Dannelle) Green, Mela Hainline, Tim (Tanja) Green, Melissa (Matt) Wise, Rayme Meyer, Jonna (Justice) Torwan and Destynee Sanchez and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for Monica will be held at a later date. To be announced by her family.
