Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Patricia Lynne Vogler, better known to her family and friends as “Patty” entered eternal life on October 8, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Buhl, Idaho.
Patty was born January 29, 1943 to Jack and Doris Drohan in Downey, California. Patty graduated from St. Paul High School in Santa Fe Springs, California in 1960. Patty had several jobs over the years which included working as a secretary at a legal firm for two years, a makeup artist for 15 years, an office assistant and helping others for a Christian ministry for 10 years. She excelled at typing and shorthand.
She was a devout Roman Catholic her entire life, always believing in her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a member of a local traveling, chamber-singing group, Sweet Adelines for 10 years. She was a member of a multi-denominational choir that preformed “Handel’s Messiah” for over 20 years. She was also a member of the church choir at Beatitudes of Our Lord Parish in La Mirada, California for over 40 years. For many of those years she was a Cantor.
Along with being a member of many things she also was an avid tennis player, bowler, pool player and softball player. Even when she wasn’t playing, she was watching tennis, along with baseball and football. Patty loved to read meditative, inspirational Bible related books each morning. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends especially, Cribbage, Bridge, Hearts, Dice, and Kings on the Corner.
