Phillys Charlottie Green Miller passed away on March 3, 2017, two days prior to her 77th birthday, at St. Luke's Magic Valley Hospital in Twin Falls, Idaho.
Phillys was born on March 5, 1940, in Carey, Idaho, the seventh child of Leo Earl and Amanda Jolley Green. Growing up, she attended schools in Buhl, graduating in 1959 at Buhl High School. She then went on to attend the Magic Valley Memorial Nursing School working to become a nurse. However, she was distracted and married Carrol Neuman Miller on February 18, 1963. They were married for 54 years. Together they had two children, Timothy Wayne and Carol Elaine. Phillys enjoyed being a mother and a housewife until 1974.
Phillys went on to work for the Hamilton Company in Reno, Nevada, where she worked for 28 years, manufacturing surgical equipment, until she retired.
Phillys loved working on arts and crafts, genealogy, gardening, canning and playing cards and games. She was a life long member of the LDS church and she loved doing good things in service for other people.
Phillys is survived by her dear husband, Carrol; son, Tim (Jody) Miller; daughter, Elaine Miller; grandchildren, Heather Miller Francis and Mikayla (Joe) Walters; great grandson, Ames Francis; sisters, Emma Staley, Leora Douglas, Dorien (Allen) Hopwood and Vonnie O'Neal.
Phillys is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bud and Leslie; sister, Ireta and son-in-law, Michael Lujacummins.
A funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m on Friday, March 10, 2017 at the Thousand Springs Ward L.D.S. Church, (501 Main St.) in Buhl. A viewing will be held from 10:00 - 10:50 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment will be held at the Hagerman Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl, Idaho.
