Phyliss Moore

April 5, 1937 — December 24, 2012

Mrs. Phyliss Moore, 75, of Buhl passed away December 24, 2012, at her home after an extended bout with cancer.

Phyliss was born April 5, 1937 in Twin Falls to Homer and Goldie Martin. She grew up with her three sisters and two brothers in the West Point area and attended school in Wendell. She later married Virgil Thompson and from that union two children were born, son, Archie Lynn Thompson and daughter, Theda May Share. Phyliss and her husband worked hand in hand at farming and milking cows. Virgil and Phyliss were later divorced.

On May 29, 1967, Phyliss married Charles "Ed" Moore and spent 45 wonderful years together living in Twin Falls, Buhl, and Rupert before returning to Buhl to care for her special Uncle Carl Osborn during his last years. Phyliss worked hard during her life, farming with Virgil, working at Kellwood, and for years recycling with her father and uncles. In fact, one week prior to her passing she sold her last load of recycled copper wire and insisted on making the trip to Jerome to haggle price.

She is survived by her husband, Charles "Ed" Moore of Buhl; daughter, Theda (Doug) Share of Buhl; stepson, Tom (Jennie) Moore of Rexburg; step-daughter, Lori (Steve) Ridley of Filer; daughter in law, Barbara (Denny) Easterday of Buhl; Siblings, Thelma Connor of Wendell, Janet (Marshall) Simcoe of Pocatello, Del (Marie) Martin of Buhl; granddaughters, Athena (Jim) Sabala, Deana (Brock) Tvrdy, Morgan (Tim) Breck, Tawnie Share, Hollye (Jimmy) Lierman, Elisabeth (Cory) McDonald; Grandsons, Chance Share, Joe Thompson, Rustin Thompson and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Goldie Martin; brother, Robert; sister, Francis Lowery; son, Archie Thompson, and close uncles, Bruce, Max Martin, and Carl Osborn.

Phyliss had great memories of all that passed before her, spoke of them often and missed them with all her heart daily.

A special thanks to the doctors and workers of MSTI and Buffy and Hospices.
