Robert (Bob) Turner

Bob passed away peacefully on June 2, 2015 following the 53rd anniversary with the love of his life, Carol. Bob was born at his grandparents homestead in Melon Valley to Robert and Isabelle Turner on July 27, 1940. He graduated from Buhl High School in 1958. After graduation, Bob joined the Navy and served for 3 years. He was honorably discharged in 1961. He married his sweetheart, Carol Hopwood, on June 1, 1962. Bob and Carol have four children: Cheyenne(Kent) Heindel of Palmer, Alaska; Bridget Burke of Twin Falls, Idaho; Vicki(Scott) Prien of Rupert, Idaho; and, Robert(Cathy) Turner of Middleton, Idaho. Bob and Carol have 7 grandchildren, Ian(Natasha), Sam(Sasha), Eli Heindel; Sara and Vincent Burke; and Parker and Brianna Prien.

Bob is survived by his sisters, Benita(Gary) Harms and Marjorie(Lawrence) Vecera, his wife, Carol, his children and grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Isabelle Turner.

There will be no services per Bob's wishes. Cremation under the direction of Farmer Funeral Chapel of Buhl, Idaho.
