Ruby Hulse

September 17, 1959 — September 26, 2021

FILER

Ruby Ellen Hulse of Filer, Idaho born on September 17, 1959 and gained her heavenly wings on September 26, 2021.

Ruby was born in Twin Falls, Idaho to Earl Newnham and Barbara Cupp. She was the second out of eight siblings. She grew up around Buhl and Twin Falls attending schools in both cities. After graduating high school, she married, and shortly after, started her greatest job ever being a mother. Ruby loved ALL her kids (both hers and the ones she staked claim to). She was an amazing mom, sharing with her kids her love of anything outdoors such as fishing, hunting, berry picking, as well as playing in the river and going on walks. She was the one to pile everyone in the car for a day at the lake or a picnic lunch at the park.

She was so talented when it came to arts and crafts and her love for them shown. She could draw and play music— she loved to share that with us all. Ruby had such a big and loving heart and with that came so many friends, from lifelong to newly made. It didn't matter if you were her friend, she looked at you like family. Ruby was an active member of the Church Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her biggest passion was helping, being part of events like Relay 4 Life and Head-start. It truly meant so much to her to give back.

Ruby will forever be remembered for being the one who would help you any in any way she possibly could. She loved with ALL of her being and wanted you to know just how much you were loved by her. She would ALWAYS tell you "I love you" before hanging up a phone call EVERYTIME! She didn't want something to happen without you knowing you were loved by her. You'd always have a spot to lay your head at night or a warm meal in your belly. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for a friend or family. Ruby loved her collection of porcelain dolls and unicorns. The lady was an avid OKLAHOMA SOONERS fan and of course her San Francisco 49ers!

Ruby’s passion and love for life was contagious. It was extremely hard not to be happy when she was around. She was most certainly a beacon of light.

Ruby was preceded in death by many some being her so LOVED grandparents; her father; stepfather; and life loves, Gary Monroe, Frank “Ted” Booth, and Keith Hulse; and many aunts and uncles she loved dearly.

She is survived by her children, Chrissy (Mark) Solt, Heath (Denita) Monroe, Brad (Roni) Monroe, Bryanna Monroe, Haleigh Hulse, Heidi Wells, Justin (Brandi) Black, and Liz Falkenroth; grand and great grandchildren galore; along with her mother, Barbara; and all seven brothers and sisters.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 4, 2021 at West End Cemetery, 1574 East 4150 North, Buhl.
