Sheri L. Berks of Buhl, Idaho, passed away peacefully at her home on October 7th, 2025. She was born to George and Caroline Vance in Wilder, Idaho where she developed her hardworking and tenacious spirit. Sheri was the oldest of four siblings: Craig Vance, Laura Murray, and Scott Vance.
She married Richard Berks of Twin Falls in 1977, and together they built a beautiful life. Sheri was a proud mom to her two daughters, Bonnie Lloyd of Twin Falls and Megan Berks of Boise, and a deeply devoted grandmother to her four grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Sheri approached everything she did with heart. Whether she was tending to her garden which was bursting with flowers, chasing after her grandkids, planning a family trip, or deepening her faith, she did it all with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion. She was happiest with dirt on her hands, coffee in her cup, and family close by. She showed those around her what it meant to love fiercely, to work hard, and to never lose faith.
Her love continues to bloom in every heart she touched. Though the earth feels quieter without her, heaven’s gardens will surely be more beautiful with her in them. While we miss her deeply, we take comfort knowing she is at rest and at peace — home with the Lord she loved so deeply.
A celebration of Sheri’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on October 18th at Twin Falls Reformed Church. Friends and family are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the incredible woman she was.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Sheri's memorial webpage at www.farmerfuneralchapel.com.
