Celebrating the Life of Terry L. Pearson

Terry L. Pearson, age 76, of Buhl, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. He was born on October 21, 1948, in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Terry was the son of Frank and Eileen Pearson. He grew up attending school in Lucerne and later in Buhl. Terry valued education and went on to study at the College of Southern Idaho and later at the University of Idaho, where he earned his Master’s degree.

On November 10, 1990, Terry married the love of his life, Shirley. Together, they built a life filled with love, hard work, and family while they raised their son, Eric. Terry dedicated his life to dairying and farming, a career that reflected his deep connection to the land and his community. After decades of hard work, he retired on November 16, 2024.

Outside of work, Terry found his greatest joy working in the yard and spending time with his family, friends, and loyal dogs. He will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, and love of simple, meaningful moments, like picking rocks from pebbles to boulders.

Terry is survived by his wife, Shirley, and his son, Eric Pearson, both of Buhl. He is also survived by Frank Pearson; Robert Pearson; and Jim and Doris Pearson all of Buhl. His grandchildren include Taylor and AJ Montesano; Jason and Briza Pearson-Soria and Eric Puder.

He was preceded in death by his parents and by his brother and sister-in-law, Delburt and Rhonda Pearson.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at West End Cemetery in Buhl.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a Hospice organization or The Humane Society.
