Vincent Wayne Wray, Vince for everyone unless he was in trouble, was born on December 7, 1965, in Twin Falls, Idaho. He was raised in Buhl, Melon Valley and the surrounding areas.
He was home with his wife and family in Hospice Care when he was taken into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on June 13, 2025, while the angels surrounded him, welcoming him home.
Vince was an avid sportsman, wildlife enthusiast, and hunters' guide. He was part of several different ministries; including prison ministries, taking in children who had nowhere else to go and mentoring them both.
He showed his strength during a five-year long battle fighting an autoimmune disease that attacked his lungs and kidneys. Vince had a remarkable, unshakeable faith no matter his circumstances, living everyday through his faith in His Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He blessed so many with understanding, kindness, acceptance and joy. He always brought joy and smiles to everyone who crossed his path, including the doctors and nursing staff that helped him. He continued being the light and foundation for his family with his wonderful wife and children helping him every step of the way. He was never afraid to joke around and be silly to make someone smile. Vince was an amazing grandfather and uncle to 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Vince is survived by his beautiful dancing partner and dedicated wife, Marilyn (née Martin) who shared 39 years, married under God's grace for 37 years and whose strength and love was unwavering throughout his care; his children Angelita and Chris Slaysman, their children Inara and Malcolm; Quincy and Kristin (née Ragain) Shell, their children Syndal, Makaesyn; and Johnathon and Destiny (née Pellerito) Wray, their children Ezra, Dominick, Leena, Wilson, Joseph, and Maria; his parents, Daniel John & Rita (née Hollingsworth) Wray; his sisters Regina and Ranae and their families. He was preceded in death by their youngest daughter Cholise "Coco" Wray and his Uncle Jim Wray. Vince joins them in making the angels smile and laugh,
Vince's favorite sayings, "You can have a bad five minutes or a bad day, it is your choice!" and "Do you have a relationship with Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?"
