Bernard F. Wagner

Bernard Wagner, 95 passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at Woodland Assisted Living relative to incidents of age. Bernard was born on the farm south of Buhl on November 15, 1925 to John A. and Annie Richter Wagner the fourth boy born in the family of ten children. He attended and graduated from the 8th grade at Fairview school. A farmer at heart he continued farming his own farm south of town until his retirement. A lifelong and dedicated Catholic his faith was the most important facet of his life. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a Charter Member of the 4th Degree Father Wirtzberger General Assembly Knights of Columbus in Buhl.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John, Conrad, Earl, Paul, and Joe; sisters-in-law; Daryl and Ruby; brother-in-law, Chuck Hosman; and nephew Russell Wagner.
He is survived by his brothers, Otto (Sandra) and Walter Wagner of Buhl; sisters, Barbara Hosman of Jerome, and Eva Wagner of Buhl; sisters-in-law Maxine Wagner and Beverly Wagner; and 22 nephews and nieces.
A viewing for Bernard will be held from 6pm until 7pm with a Rosary to follow on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1601 Poplar St, Buhl.
A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am, Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, with celebrant Father Jorge Garcia. Masked are recommended and social distancing will be observed. The family wishes to thank all the residents and caregivers of Woodland Assisted Living for the excellent care and attention they extended to Bernard these past six months, Memorial contribution may be made to Knights of Columbus, P.O.
