Doris Bright of Buhl, Idaho passed away on March 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family at the age of 89.
Doris was the oldest and only daughter born to Burley and Thelma Clark on July 20, 1931 in Rayborn, Missouri. She had three brothers: Farris, Raymond, and Glen. Their family moved from Missouri to Idaho when Doris was 14 years old.
She met Junior Bright and they were married on March 27, 1947 in Buhl. They were blessed with three daughters: Lois, Gloria, and Jerri. Doris was a great mother, grandmother and friend. We all loved meeting up at her house, it was our “gathering place”.
She made the best pancakes, strawberry jam, and bacon. Spending hours with her swinging and visiting on her front porch was all of our favorite. Doris has the most beautiful smile and the kindest words for us all. We are all going to miss her.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Burley and Thelma Clark; brothers, Farris, Raymond, and Glen; and her son in law, Bob Dealy. She is survived by her daughters, Lois (Curt) Bingham, Gloria (David) Thomas, and Jerri (Clay) Bingham; sisters in law, Ruby and Rozelle; eight grandkids; 16 great grandkids; and eight great, great grandkids.
The family will be gathering at a later date for a celebration of Doris’ life.
“Grief never ends, just changes. It’s a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness, nor a lack of faith. It is the price of love.”

March 26, 2021 2:36 PMMy sincere condolences to the Clark family for Doris's passing. I remember Doris and her kindness. Many good memories of Burley and Farris in their automotive shop on Main St., Buhl with my old pickup. Ruby was a SS teacher for many years and I will always be grateful for those Bible stories she shared with her class. And Glen Clark who shared the gospel with my parents. Sincerely Janice (Abshire) Kohl
