We are deeply sorry for your loss - the staff at Farmer Funeral Chapel
Eucalid McLeroy Jr., 79 passed away on June 1, 2021 at his home in Buhl, Idaho.
Jr. was an avid hunter, fisherman, motorcycle rider, sports watcher, and family man. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many. We will miss his smile and great sense of humor.
Jr. was born on August 9, 1941 to Ecualid Sr. and Dessie Crisp McLeroy in Atoka, Oklahoma. When he was a younger man, his family moved to Fresno, California where he met and married Barbara Joan Anderson on February 18, 1960. After Barbara’s death in 1975, he met and married Lu Alice Steffens on May 1, 1976. Following the death of his brother Bobby Ray in 1989, he and Alice cared for his nephew Kristoffer, who passed away in 2018.
Jr. is survived by his wife, Alice; children, Tammy (Dan) Pehrson, Jeff (Katie) McLeroy, Joey (Irene) McLeroy, and Jessica (George) Oppedyk, and former daughter-in-law, Julie McLeroy; his five grandchildren, Andrea (Adam) Douglas, Casey (Pam) Pehrson, Michell Pehrson, Belle and Casey McLeroy; five great grandchildren, Hailey and Tate Douglas, Madison, Grace, and Joey Pehrson.
He was preceded in death by his son, Scott; his parents; brother; and sister, Sherlene.
Jr. was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
The family will host a memorial at Jr.’s home in August, as that would have been Jr.’s 80th birthday.
Memories and condolences may be shared with the family on Jr.’s memorial webpage at www.farmerfuneralchapel.com.
