Emma Jean Muirhead

January 15, 1930 ~ January 10, 2021

Emma Jean Muirhead, 90 of Buhl, passed away Sunday morning, January 10, 2021, at home surrounded by her family.  She was born on January 15, 1930; the youngest of ten children of Julius and Myrtle Beach.

As a child, Jean thought it would be wonderful to be a sunbeam for Jesus.  Throughout her life she spread love and light wherever she went, remaining an active member in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Jean will continue to shine on us all from above.

Jean was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, John F. Muirhead; and their three children: Jule Ann Muirhead, Pam Downes, and John D. Muirhead.

Jean is survived by her three granddaughters, Kalia (Josh) Jacobson of Hailey; Kristel (Chris) Muirhead of Portland, Oregon; and Sunny (Andy) Muirhead of Kuna; her two great-granddaughters, Makaylan and Kadance of Hailey; and son-in-law, Jim (Mary) Downes of Buhl.

Per Jean’s wishes there will be no service.
