About Us

Farmer Funeral Chapel was started in 1938 by Bernard Albertson known then as Albertson Funeral Chapel. It was briefly owned by Bob Dickard who sold it to George Farmer and the name was changed to Farmer Funeral Chapel.

In 1984, George's son-in-law, Gary Bonar, purchased the funeral home. In 2001, Gary was joined by his son Steve Bonar and together they operated the business.

In December 2018, Paul & Amie Swenson purchased the funeral home and are dedicated to providing continued service of the highest manner.
